His own story
The Frida outfit was born from the passionate love story between Frida Khalo and Diego Riveira. Diego writes: "July 13, 1954 was the most tragic day of my life. I had lost my Frida, whom I would have loved forever. Only later did I realize that the best part of my life had been my love for Frida. " A crazy love story dictated by poetry and jealousy. It is from a poem by Frida that I chose the title of this collection: Io ti cielo.
You rain me - I sky you
You refinement, childhood,
life - my love - child - old
mother and center - blue - tenderness.
I offer you
my universe and you live me.
It is you that I love today.
I love you with all loves.
Ethical and sustainable choice
When deciding what to wear, we have an obligation to consider how it is made and the impact of that process.
At Abricot each garment is made trying to limit fabric waste. All the garments are packaged exclusively at the time of the order and sewn to the customer's measurements with slowness and dedication and with the care necessary to make every detail shine.
The choice of fabrics comes from a long and careful research. We use waste or vintage fabrics, preferring silk, wool, viscose, linen and cotton.
All purchases are shipped in fabric bags created from the scraps of the various packages. Furthermore, the packaging is made of paper and totally plastic-free.
Each garment is a unique piece designed and packaged by Giulia.
